A: To make a claim, notify Roxburgh Insurance Brokers immediately. You can initiate your claim by phone or email. Gather all necessary documentation related to your claim to expedite the process. The claims team will assess your information and aim to resolve your claim swiftly, keeping you informed throughout.

A: We are an insurance broker.  We review your insurance needs and review the market to help you to find the right insurance cover tailored to your needs. We negotiate with insurers to find you’re the best terms possible.  We offer advice and recommend suitable products for you.  We also manage any changes you need to make or queries that you have about your insurance cover on a day to day basis and will liaise with insurance companies on your behalf where needed, including when you need to make a claim.  We also oversee any claims process for you from beginning to end and we can guide you in relation to managing your insurance risks and help you to identify any gaps you may have in your existing cover.
A: If you have a question or need to make a change including if you need to cancel a policy with us or make a complaint, please call us on 0141 952 0371. Our team are on hand to help you and our Business hours are: Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. You can also contact us by email at info@roxburghinsurance.co.uk or directly to your account executive or handler. Their email address will always be on your documents. If you need to make any enquiry you can reach us during those times but in the event of an emergency you can reach your account executive directly via mobile which is provided to you in your renewal pack. You can also contact insurers out of hours claims lines which are open at all times.
A: We earn commission from insurers and premium finance providers when we place or introduce business to them. We also charge fees to cover administration costs of preparing and servicing insurance arrangements for our customers. These are set at £30 per policy for both New Business and Renewals. These are also capped at a maximum of 2 per customer so if you do have more than 2 policies with us, you will not be charged more than £60 admin fees.
A: We always start by understanding our client and their needs and this includes any customer with special requirements. If it’s important to you, then it matters to us. No client is the same so please always let us know if you need us to do something differently to help you with your insurance needs and we will work with you.
A: If you need to cancel your cover, please let us know as soon as you can by call or in writing. We prefer that you call us because we want to understand what’s gone wrong and if we can help in addition to making sure that you are not left without insurance cover at anytime. But we are always here to help. If you need to cancel then we will make sure it’s done and we won’t charge an admin fee for this. We do reserve the right to retain the commission that we have already earned when we placed your policy.
A: All of our property clients receive free access to specialist Loss Adjuster support, a service often charged for by other Brokers. Our handlers will also support you through the lifecycle of any claim you have, by negotiating with insurers on your behalf and ensuring that when the worst happens, you have someone on your side to ensure that claims are managed quickly and in the way that you expect.
A: We are regulated by the FCA and are committed to complying with their Consumer Principle which requires firms such as ourselves to act to deliver good outcomes for retail customers. Those good outcomes apply to the products and services we provide, the price and value of those, our customer understanding and our customer support.
